Surfing Safety Precautions

2022-06-20

Surfing itself is a dashing and beautiful water sport. Players can stand on the surfboard, or step directly on the water, and be lifted by the waves rushing to the shore and float on the water. Due to the arrival of summer, many obese people can't stand the high temperature, so they jump into the sea and use surfing to reduce the fat on their waists, legs and arms.

Players can often use long, narrow horsepower cloth boards, or short net boards, or even surf with arms overhead without a board. Because to surf, you must carry the surfboard against the current and reach the steeper crest. When the waves approach, kick the water hard against the surfboard and swim quickly towards the shore.

There is a difference in how surfing is played, racing surfing and freestyle surfing both focus on speed and turning skills. The difference is that the former is a straight-line race, mostly under extremely strong wind conditions. The straight-line speed is 94km/h, while the average player's usual speed is around 40~50km/h.

Freestyle surfing is played in a completely different way. Freestyle surfing generally performs larger movements in the breaking wave area or flat water area, such as somersaults, jumps, fancy sails, aerial steering, etc. This kind of gameplay is difficult and dangerous. It must be at a certain level, and it is best to be guided by a special person.

Surfing safety precautions

1. When carrying a surfboard, pay attention to the turns. When placed on the ground, it should be placed lightly. When the wind is strong, it should be placed on the beach and cover the surfboard with sand to avoid being blown away by the wind.

2. When carrying a surfboard to the sea, the angle of the surfboard should be in a straight line. Never put the surfboard in front of your body to prevent the waves from hitting the surfboard and hitting your body.

3. When the surfboard washes back to the shore from the open sea and the water depth is about 30 cm, please get off the board immediately to prevent the surfboard from hitting the stone directly.

4. When the surfboard collides with the waves, do not pull the safety rope and the surfboard with your hands to avoid straining your hands.

5. When surfing, please keep two surfboards away from everyone at sea.

6. Beginner players, please check the equipment before entering the water, check whether the wax block is hit, check the safety rope and life jacket, and do a warm-up exercise 20 minutes before you can go surfing in the sea.

7. The surfing rule is that the person closest to the break point of the wave stands up first, then the next player must stop surfing.

8. The best wave shape for surfing is the wave in which the middle collapses and advances to the slopes on both sides. The most dangerous and worst kind of wave is a wave that collapses in an instant. Please disembark at this time.

9. If you see jellyfish appear or are bitten by jellyfish while surfing in the sea, please go ashore and rest.

10. When surfing in the open sea, if the player closest to the first wave area has a huge wave covering the entire row above the player, the player should quickly throw away the surfboard and dive to hide.

11. During huge waves, players in the front row must keep a safe distance of 3 surfboards from the surrounding players, so as not to entangle everyone's surfboards and safety ropes during huge waves.

12. Players must obey the surfing rules. When a person makes a wave, whoever is closest to the starting point of the wave wall will stand up first. At this time, the player next to him quickly brakes or pulls the board to stop surfing.

13. Beginner players should strengthen hand rowing training, physical training, foot training, and forward rolling training in the water.

14. If you want to be good at surfing, you must have diving skills, high fighting spirit, and strong physical muscles. Usually watch more surfing videos, surfing magazines, surf more with surfers, observe more, surf the Internet more, and exchange experiences with friends, to ensure that you will soon become a surfing master.

15. When surfing, if you encounter an ocean current that is pulled to the outside world, just follow the ocean current to the inclined direction and catch the waves. Never throw away the safety rope and swim back, please lie down on the wave board to rest and wait for rescue.
